Multiplayer

BattleCraft was a multiplayer mobile strategy video game inspired by Minecraft and Clash of Clans built for Mineplex who at the time developed the largest MineCraft server in the world. The game required resource collection to build cities, train troops, research spells and acquire upgrades to fight against both AI controlled enemies as well as other players. Players could also join clans, contribute to level up and join in big scale wars against other clans.

  • Client developed in Unity
  • Server developed with Photon Server
  • Designed a deterministic simulation for both client and server allowing lag free or even secure offline game play
  • Integrated assets including models, animations and audio
  • Developed a level editor which was integrated into the client
  • Clan server developed using PlayFab
  • Chat server developed using Firebase
